Computerize daily transaction records in Tally software and prepare financial statements as well as perform all bank related transactions. Submit budget to the Marketing Board during the financial year. Pay all taxes and various dues to the government. Perform all work related to the Accounting Department.
To scrutinize daily agricultural product arrivals, calculate market prices, extract information about market cess due to buyers and submit it to the Cashier Department, maintain monthly, daily, weekly, annual, buyer name-wise entry and market price information
Issuing all orders related to the establishment of all employees and daily wage workers of the Market Committee, recording leave records, planning their daily activities, issuing relevant instructions, etc.

All licensed traders and buyers register the purchase and sale of grain in the market yard by entering it in the demand computer and levying market fee and supervision fee accurately through all junior clerks.
Daily Adat/Purchase Bills are inspected monthly.
Farmers are given mortgage loans on the collateral of their agricultural products. During the season, the arrival of agricultural products in the market increases, and often the possibility of a decrease in prices cannot be ruled out due to high arrivals. During this period, farmers are required to pay agricultural loans at a reasonable price and to meet their financial needs, the Agricultural Mortgage Scheme is implemented under the direction of the Maharashtra State Agricultural Marketing Board and the Market Committee's own funds on the basis of receipts. In this department, farmers are given mortgage loans as per the rules after completing the necessary documents for agricultural products.
Market fees, supervision fees, farm collateral, grain rent and other miscellaneous payments are accepted in the market committee. Receipts of the amounts paid through cash, cheques, net banking in the cash department are made and the said payments are deposited in the bank account of the market committee on a daily basis. All these transactions are recorded in the cash book.
